At AlienComfort™, we believe that true relaxation begins with recognition for people who give their all every day. With this vision, we recently donated an AlienComfort™ massage chair to Het Gebouw in Leiden. In this residential facility for elderly people with dementia, the staff is constantly under physical and mental pressure. The massage chair is therefore deliberately placed for care workers, so they can take a moment of recovery and rest during and after intensive shifts. With this donation, we want to make a concrete contribution to the well-being of healthcare professionals who consistently care for others but often neglect themselves in the process. Het Gebouw is part of Libertas Leiden, an organization committed to person-centered elderly care and sustainable working conditions.
Why we do this as a brand
As a brand, we stand not only for luxury or technology but for functional comfort with social value. Care workers experience physical complaints, stress, and fatigue more often than average. By making relaxation structurally accessible in the workplace, we support recovery moments that contribute to resilience, focus, and job satisfaction. This donation fits within our broader vision of responsible entrepreneurship and promoting sustainable employability in sectors where pressure is consistently high.
More than just massage: what AlienComfort™ truly offers
With this collaboration, we emphasize what AlienComfort™ stands for: true relaxation, in places where it is needed most.
