Three to four times a week, a session of 15 to 20 minutes is optimal for most people. This helps with chronic pain complaints and relaxation after a long workday. Start gently at a lower intensity and gradually build up. For acute injuries or conditions, it is wise to seek medical advice first.

How long does a massage session last?

A standard session lasts 15 to 30 minutes. Most AlienComfort™ massage chairs have automatic programs of 15 or 20 minutes. How do I know which massage chair suits me best?

Which massage chair is best for back pain?

For back pain, a massage chair with an extended SL-track and 4D massage rollers is most effective. What is the difference between a 3D and 4D massage chair?

With a 3D massage chair, the rollers can penetrate deeper into the muscles (forward-backward, left-right, up-down). A 4D massage chair adds a fourth dimension: the speed and rhythm of the rollers vary automatically, making the massage feel more like the hands of a real masseur. How much space is needed for a massage chair?

Most AlienComfort™ massage chairs are compactly designed and have a footprint of approximately 80 x 130 cm in the seated position. In the fully reclined position (Zero Gravity), you will need an additional 30 to 50 cm of space behind the chair. Check the exact dimensions per model on the product page. Payment and business

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, installment payment is possible via iDEAL in 3 (3 installments without interest) and Klarna. During checkout, you will immediately see which options are available. This way, you can choose a payment method that suits your situation without having to pay the full amount upfront.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We offer a wide range of secure payment methods: iDEAL, iDEAL in 3 (0% interest), Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Klarna (pay later), Bancontact, and other common options. During checkout, you will automatically see which payment methods are available to you.

Can a massage chair be reimbursed by health insurance?

In some cases, (partial) reimbursement is possible, for example through supplementary insurance or with medical advice. This varies per health insurer and policy. We recommend checking this in advance with your health insurer. If needed, we can provide additional product information.

What is the WKR scheme for massage chairs?

Is pickup possible and how does it work?

Pickup is possible at our showroom in The Hague (De Werf 11). You can pay by card or cash upon pickup. After your order, a colleague from AlienComfort™ will contact you to arrange the pickup appointment, ensuring everything goes smoothly.

Delivery and installation

How fast will my order be delivered and what are the shipping costs?

Shipping is always free. In most cases, your order will be delivered within 1 business day via DHL with track & trace, depending on availability and the delivery address. After ordering, we will keep you informed about the delivery. Read more about our delivery options and premium delivery.

What does premium delivery include?

With premium delivery, your massage chair is delivered by two couriers and neatly placed in the room of your choice. Delivery to an upper floor is possible by arrangement. A colleague from AlienComfort™ will contact you in advance to arrange a suitable delivery day together. Costs: €95 in the Netherlands, €145 in Belgium. What does Premium delivery to the room cost?

Premium delivery costs €95 in the Netherlands and €145 in Belgium. You select this option on the product page or in your shopping cart. Standard delivery via DHL is always free.

Does premium delivery apply to all AlienComfort™ massage chairs?

Yes, the premium delivery option is offered on all massage chairs in our assortment. You can find the option on the product page and in the shopping cart at checkout.

Is placement on an upper floor possible?

Yes, placement on an upper floor is possible if the situation allows. Our delivery staff will assess on site whether the massage chair can be safely placed via stairs, elevator, or other access. Factors such as stair width, turning space, ceiling height, and floor load capacity play a role. Measure the stair width, turns, and turning points on landings or hallways in advance — this information is requested during the planning conversation.

What if the chair doesn’t fit through the stairs or narrow passage?

Can I change the delivery appointment after scheduling by phone?

Are massage chairs energy efficient?

The power consumption of a massage chair is relatively low and comparable to that of a standard household appliance. On average, a massage chair consumes between 150 and 300 watts during use, depending on the model and activated features such as heat and Zero Gravity. Warranty and returns

What warranty applies to your products?

All massage chairs come with a standard 5-year warranty. Massage guns and mats have a warranty of 1 to 2 years, depending on the product. The exact warranty conditions are stated on the product page and in your order confirmation. Visit our returns and warranty page for all details.

How does a service request work?

You can submit your service request by email (Service@AlienComfort.nl) or via the contact form on our website. Please include your order number, model, and a clear description of the situation. Photos or a short video will speed up the process significantly. After registration, you will receive a response within 1 business day with the next steps. How long do I have to return my massage chair?

You have 30 days after delivery to register your product for return, as long as it is in good condition and preferably in the original packaging. The exact conditions can be found on our returns page.

How do I register a return?

You can easily register your return via the return form on our returns page. Once your request is received, you will receive the next steps and return instructions by email. Massage chairs are collected by us.

What is your return policy and how does a return work?

You can return your order within 30 days of receipt. Massage chairs are collected by us; after registering on the returns page, a colleague from AlienComfort™ will contact you to schedule a pickup day. Smaller products like accessories you return yourself via a parcel service.

Can I exchange my product for another model?

How do I maintain my massage chair and how long does it last?

An AlienComfort™ massage chair lasts 10 years or more with normal use. Clean the upholstery regularly with a lightly damp cloth; do not use aggressive cleaners or solvents on the vegan leather.
